Advertisement research

The art style is very simple and clear, the text is in the same style as the logo so that is all looks the same. By putting the logo right in the middle helps to draw attention to the ad and helps people to recognize what band the ad is talking about. The album releases date is at the beginning of the month, this could be because people will have some extra cash as they have been paid a few days before. Also, it says that there is some kind of unlock-able art work that you can get if you buy the CD; but it does say at the bottom that the album is available. This allow them to sell there product to a wide range of people, but are pushing people toward the CD version as it has extra content.   

This is a very busy ad, with lots of different things in the background; this seems to be the art work for the album cover but could able be used to draw attention to the ad. By putting the name of the band at an angle makes it look bigger making it a lot more eye caching. Then at the bottom they have the name of the album, the date and how you can buy the song. The album is coming out at the end of the mouth, when people are more likely to have money as they would be paid within a few days of the release. The song is being released on a number of different of mediums e.g. CD, LP and DD; this is to help in the sales of their product by giving people a range of ways to listen to their music. Then near the bottom their is a exasperate of a review about the album, this is to show people that there music is like by the critic.  

This is a very interesting ad, as rather then the last two this on has the whole band in the picture and their is no color at all. The text is very simple and looks very uniformed, which could go with the style of the band and their music; also going with the general style of the picture. Then at the bottom they have put the release date and that is it, nothing about what mediums it is on; but this could also go with their style in some way that they don't need to tell people because they should know already.
