This is the photo shoot plan that my group and I made to plan out when we where going to take photos for our album cover. We all agreed that this was the best time as we would have the time to do it.

This is the shooting scedual we have agreed on, this is best suited to us as we will need to film during the weekend due to some people are in other lessons. (to miss or sir, the reason it the carters section on the three day is because i have lost my female actress and i am looking for a replacement at that the moment)

This is the talent releases form that we are required to get people to singe, if they with to be in our video. This coverer us from people complaining about putting there image on the internet.

location request

I have gotten in contact with the company which owns the location that we wanted to use, but I have been told that we can't use the location due to a number of legal reasons. because of this I can't compete this post at the moment.

Story Boards

These are the pages of our storyboard for our video, detailing the type of shots, the length of shots and what we want in each shot. We have tried to make as many shots that we can deal with to make sure that we have enough shots to edited and enough variety of shots to keep the view interested.

magazine ad

This is the design we are going to use for our magazine ad, this is similar to the album cover in a few was. As the name of the album is "blood red ocean"we are going to dye some seaweed and make it look like the band members have seaweed for hands, this relates to the sea theme of the album. We have put them on a urban background is because we are trying to ground the image to make sure that the images of the sea are not to powerful and then influence the adenines to think of a different image of the music.

Album cover

This is the concept drawing of our album cover we will use for our digi-pack, it has common fetchers of a typical metal album cover. With one side taken up by a picture of the whole band together, this is very common in rock and metal albums as the music is really related to the band playing their music live. As the name of the album will be "blood red sea" we will try to make a image relating to this by collecting a large amount of sea related this and putting them to get there to make up the inner plates of the cover. 

location research

These are some of my ideas of where we can film our video, I have chosen these locations because they best suit our style of music. It is very industrial and old, very stereotypic to metal. If we want to film here we will have to try and get promotions for the owners. But I have spoken to the owners and they have decline out request to use there site, we will be still using some of the area around this but this has been a bit of a blow as I had lots of ideas for this site.

These are the lyrics to our song, we have used Microsoft's word to make comments of each verse of the song. this will help us to come up with ideas for the content to our music video.

chosen song: a Single moment of Sincerity by Asking Alexandria

We have chosen this song because it creates lots of different images in your mind of what the singer is singing about. Also, we enjoy this kind of music so we can easily come up with good ideas of what should be in this video. This song has not got a video, so there will be no influences from a video that was already made. the genre of the song is know as "metalcore".

Photo shop tutorial

These are some examples of images that we have taken, then edited using the tools in photoshop; to go with our style from our genre. To make this look very stereotypical to our genre of music, we made the images very dark and made them look kind of evil; which is a common references to metal music. With the top picture, by putting us altogether with our arms crossed make us look very aggressive and intimidating; which is a common view of metal music.

This is a video of us taking the pictures that we edited. We made sure that there was noting on the wall behind me, which could effect the image.

Initial ideas

For our music video, we have made a mind map with the ideas that we have had for what will be in the video. For the performance side of the video, to go with the greanra of the music, we will have a full band as this is stereotypical to the video of this is greanra of music. Also to make this look protectional as possible we are going to use amps, guitars, full drum kit and microphones. For the costumers, we will keep close to the stereotypical hardcore look by using skinny jeans, dark make-up, black t-shirts, facial piercing and tattoos. final, we discussed our song chose. We had to make sure that the song came from a english band, this would make it easier to get permission of the song. That the song didn't have a video already and that the song didn't have any bad language. 

Roles

When it comes to making our music video there are a number of jobs that need doing to make sure there is minimal stress, we are going to share these out between our group so we have all contributed equally.
