What makes a good music video?

when it comes to making a good music you need to think about a number of key elements.
  • Audience must have something different to look at all times reducing the chances of Viewer Fatigue. The shots can be of the same scene or area but shot should change to different angles.
  • A good video should have some kind of storyline or meaning behind to it, this keeps the audience interested. But not all videos will have this. for example, the pictures in this post is of coheed and cambria's song "the running free"; the video shows images of different cultures and religions which colide with each other in our modern live and how the work together
  • you need to be able to easily follow song though the video. For example, you can’t have a dance video that suddenly goes into a shot of the countryside for no reason.
  • One of the most obvious, good syncing of lips to words without over-exaggerating them or mumbling though them.
